How do I make a booking at Ranges Medical?

You can book online, via the AMS Connect app or by phone on 03 8373 5420.

If you’re a new patient, download a new patient details and information sheet and bring it with you to save time when you come in for your first appointment. Your first initial appointment as a new patient will be scheduled as a long consultation (30 minutes).

What are your fees and do you bulk bill?

How do I get my test results?

In the interest of good care, it’s preferred that you make an appointment to discuss any results. However, your doctor may make alternative arrangements which will be discussed at the time of your consultation.

Our reception staff are not able to give out result details on the phone.

Can I have a blood test at Ranges Medical?

Pathology services are available at Ranges Medical in conjunction with Austin Health. These services are available weekdays 8:30am- 2:00pm - no appointment required.

How can I provide feedback about Ranges Medical?

If you have any questions, concerns or complaints we would be happy to hear from you.

Please contact the Practice Manager either in person, by phone or in writing. You can also place a comment in our suggestion box.

Does Ranges Medical have a privacy policy?

We sure do.

Does Ranges Medical close on total fire ban days?

We’re not closed on total fire ban days. However, we need to close on Code Red days. Please check up to date fire information on the CFA website

The towns of Woodend, Macedon and Mt. Macedon have been designated as three of the 52 Victorian Fire Risk Register extreme risk areas.

What staff will do on Code Red days?

Ranges Medical will close on days rated at the code red level. We are not in a position to assure the safety of the building’s occupants.

Patients and staff are advised therefore to use available news services or Bureau of Meteorology to be aware of predicted fire danger.

Use the CFA website or listen to local ABC radio for fire information.
